Finally done! :D I've been working on this for almost a year now, my first project using wires.

I don't have any proper wire-working tools so making the dangly bit on top was a real pain... but the end product is so nice it's totally worth it :aww:

Hmm, I'd say it should be about the same size (maybe a bit bigger) as the one in the movie, cos I used a screencap of Aragorn holding it as a reference for the size. And thanks! :hug:

Wow, this looks awesome - it's just like the real Evenstar! :)

It's also amazing that it took you a year, I probably wouldn't have had the persistence to stick with something like this - I'm not good at crafting things. ;) Are you planning to make anything similar in the future?

Yeah, the main reason it took so long is cos I couldn't find the right crystals :)
Maybe. I want to make Galadriel's ring Nenya and the Elvish leaf brooch, but those are going to be a lot more difficult...

I've always wanted to have one of the Elvish leaf brooches, but as mentioned I'm no good at crafts so I've been put off making one numerous times. ;) I'm sure you would be able to pull it off though!

You could always get one from the noble collection, those are really pretty and accurate :)

Yes, I visited the Noble Collection website during my LotR phase and kept making imaginary lists of things I'd like. ;) I got the One Ring one Christmas, but unfortunately it got lost. :/

Haha, I do too! And I once found a shop that sells movie replicas and I found Legolas' bow in it!! But it was soooo insanely expensive :(
That must've been such a great gift. *Gasp* But maybe you didn't lose it... maybe it had a will of its own and it left to find Sauron!! :omfg:

I remember seeing a replica of Legolas' bow somewhere too, but as you said all the replicas are really expensive. :/ Oh, you're right! I didn't even think of that, perhaps it wanted me to leave it in the PE locker room so an orc could pick it up! ;)
